FirePower Capital announces’s acquisition of Apps on Tap and Paradigm Network Solutions

FirePower Capital (“FirePower”), Canada’s entrepreneurial investment bank and investor, is pleased to announce it advised (“F12”), a leading Canadian Managed Service Provider (MSP), on its acquisition of Apps on Tap and Paradigm Network Solutions (collectively “Apps on Tap”), which offer fully managed IT solutions using both traditional MSP and next-generation Cloud Services Provider delivery models.

“We engaged FirePower to support our acquisition strategy: expanding verticals, adding scale to operations and strengthening F12’s presence nationally,” said Alex Webb, CEO of F12. “As it turned out, we couldn’t have asked for a more hardworking team.  FirePower’s perseverance building relationships with prospective targets, either directly or through their advisors, helped create awareness of F12’s interest in acquiring strong companies across Canada. We are excited to have Apps on Tap join the F12 family as they are a synergistic addition to our Eastern Canada operations.”

“Our team spent the time upfront with F12 to refine their acquisition strategy, build a comprehensive target list, and do what we do best – execute relentlessly,” said Ilan Jacobson, Founder and CEO of FirePower. “In addition, we crafted a story that emphasized F12’s amazing corporate culture. This was key to generating interest from potential targets in the MSP space, as it is dominated by younger business owners. The acquisition of Apps on Tap appears to be a great fit with F12’s strategy, and we’re proud to be supporting F12’s tremendous growth trajectory.”
