Our client PrintFleet Inc., a developer of imaging device fleet management software, sold to ECi Software Solutions, a provider of industry-specific IT software solutions. Recurring revenue software businesses are perceived very favourably in the current deal environment, and PrintFleet was no exception: we attracted interest from buyers in the USA, Europe and in particular Japan, but ECi eventually won out.

ECi continues investment into the field service industry and expands global footprint in the print and service management market

Fort Worth, TX— ECi Software Solutions (www.ECiSolutions.com), a leader in industry-specific information technology solutions, today announced it has acquired PrintFleet Inc. of Kingston, Ontario, Canada. PrintFleet is a leader in the development of data-driven device management and assessment software solutions, as well as training, business development, and support programs for dealers, distributors, and manufacturers in the imaging industry. The company offers a range of solutions for every aspect of imaging device monitoring, maintenance, and management: PrintFleet LINK, PrintFleet Vision, PrintFleet Enterprise, PrintFleet Corporate, and PrintFleet QuickAssesssoftware. Chris McFarlane will continue to serve as President of PrintFleet within ECi’s Field Service Division.
